A graph traversal written as a fixed query needs the path to be known in advance. Exploratory questions usually do not have that.
neo4jev moves through a Neo4j graph one step at a time, choosing among the outgoing relationships available at the current node and judging whether it has arrived at the goal.
WHAT JEV DECIDESJUDGMENT
Jev makes both decisions in the walk: which outgoing relationship to follow next, and whether the current node satisfies the goal well enough to stop.
