Judges large Read, Bash, and Grep results for task relevance, keeping useful or uncertain blocks and caching the hidden material for recall.
A single file read or command output can be far larger than the question the agent is actually asking. Volume crowds the context window without adding relevance.
Winnow judges each block against the current task. Blocks that are useful or whose relevance is unclear stay in context; the rest is withheld but cached so it can be recalled rather than lost.
Jev makes the relevance judgment over each block. Uncertainty is treated as a reason to keep, and withheld material remains retrievable, so the decision is not irreversible.
